I tubetti  vengono prodotti su una linea automatica, a partire da pastiglie di alluminio. Le fasi di lavorazione sono: estrusione, ricottura, verniciatura interna, smaltatura e litografia, inserimento della capsula, arrivando così al prodotto finito.

Il tubetto è un imballaggio ideale e sicuro per una protezione totale e assoluta. Il suo volume si adatta al contenuto, assicurando l'assenza di aria e l'inalterabilità del prodotto. Il tubetto trova larghissimo impiego:

- nell'industria farmaceutica e cosmetica, per pomate, creme prodotti di bellezza, coloranti per capelli, deodoranti in crema;

- nell'industria alimentare, per concentrato di pomodoro, maionese, pasta d'acciughe, cioccolato, formaggio fuso;

- nell'industria dei prodotti per la casa: colle, mastici, colori, lucidi.

Alla fine del ciclo di produzione, si possono ottenere tubetti conici inseribili l'uno nell'altro. L'ingombro viene così ridotto ad 1/6, con conseguente economia di magazzinaggio, trasporto e utilizzazione. Tubes are produced on automatic lines starting from an aluminium slug. The various stations in the production sequence are: extruding, annealing, applying an internal lacquer printing and the fitting of a cap. The collapsible tube is an ideal and safe  package thank to its total protection of the product. Its volume can be tailor-made to the product ensuring the exclusion of air and therefore offering a long shelf life for the product. The tube is widely employed:

- in the pharmaceutical and cosmetic industries for beauty products, oinments, creams, hair dyes, etc.;

- in the food industry for tomato puree, mayonnaise, anchovy paste, chocolate and soft cheese;

- in the household product industry, for adhesives, silicons, dyes, polishes.

At the end of the production the tubes can be tapered so that they nest into each other. This reduces the volume to 1/6 with consequent improvement in warehousing and transport costs.
